With all of the differing advice available about how to use the Law of Attraction, some people may feel a bit confused about how to start applying it in their own lives. They may even doubt that the Law of Attraction is real. Does this describe you? If so, read on for a couple of easy ways to begin using the Law of Attraction and create your very own evidence that it works.
1) Improving the content of your thoughts.
No matter which Law of Attraction teaching you follow, the importance of improving your thoughts cannot be disputed. Your thoughts are the very beginning part of the creation process, so it makes sense to start there.
In a general sense, whatever you think about the most is what is going to be reflected back into your life. If you tend to worry about negative possibilities a lot, you will attract a lot of situations that make you worry. If you constantly relive painful memories, you will keep attracting more painful situations in your current life.
The easiest way to change this negative thinking habit is to start getting into the habit of thinking positively. You can monitor your thoughts throughout the day and stop yourself when you notice that you are focused in a negative direction, or you can be proactive about deliberately thinking more positive thoughts.
Either way, note that it will take a little time before you get comfortable with this, especially if your negative thought habit is well ingrained.
2) Deliberately choosing better expectations.
Do you habitually gravitate toward negative expectations? For example, do you often say things like this? “This will never work. I don’t know why I’m bothering to do this. She’s going to be late again. I’ll probably get stuck in traffic on my way home.”
You may think that you’re just “being realistic” but you are actually attracting those types of experiences with your negative expectations. The good news is that you can turn the trend around by instead choosing more positive expectations.
Rather than affirming that you’ll get stuck in traffic, try saying firmly, “I intend that my ride home is smooth, quick and easy.” Before your next important interview or meeting say, “This meeting/interview will be enjoyable, efficient and productive for everyone concerned.”
It’s important to point out that these are not “magical incantations” that will always work perfectly, but you will be surprised by just how often they do seem to work! The important thing is to choose what you want, intend it, and be detached about the outcome. If it doesn’t seem to work, just try it again in another situation. Hint: they seem to work better and better the more you practice!
Those who have mastered the Law of Attraction and are able to use it to create monetary wealth, excellent relationships, and great health have done do because they are fearless. The best way to attain this trait is to start small, working on things you know in your heart you are able to manifest. Once you see evidence of these things in your life, and know that you attained them due to your work with the Law of Attraction, increase what you are asking for. Are you one of the many people who still doubt that the Law of Attraction really works? Have you perhaps tried working with the principles but didn’t see many results? It’s possible that you are using the Law of Attraction in negative ways without knowing it. Below are some common ways you might be doing so:
? Sneaky negative thoughts.
Even if you have been working diligently to improve the quality of your thoughts, you may be entertaining negative thoughts without knowing it. As an example, let’s say that you visualize and recite a list of positive affirmations first thing in the morning and then get on with your day.
If you spend the rest of the day getting frustrated about various things or feeling angry about the actions of other people, or wondering when “this law of attraction thing” is going to start working, you are probably overriding the progress you make during your morning sessions.
Remember that your thought habits must be consistent in order to see consistent results. If you swing back and forth between negative and positive thoughts all day long, you will simply keep emitting a mixed signal to the universe and consequently receive mixed results.
? Automatically expecting the worst.
Do you frequently adopt a pessimistic outlook on life? Do you automatically jump to negative conclusions about the things that happen to you? If so, you are actually sending out “requests” for negative things to happen to you.
It’s easy to do this without even realizing it. For example, you might often say to people, “Good things like that don’t happen to me. I’ve got the worst luck of anyone I know. If there’s a way to mess it up, I’ll find it!” These statements actually reflect limiting beliefs you hold about yourself, and the Law of Attraction simply accepts them as “truth”.
Changing these limiting beliefs into more empowering beliefs requires you to keep reinforcing more positive statements about yourself and your life.
For example, saying things like, “I expect good things to happen to me. I make my own luck. I may not be perfect but I’m really good at a lot of things.” The more you say things like this, the more you’ll begin to believe them, and the more your circumstances will start to reflect them as “truths”.
The funny thing about the Law of Attraction is that no one can prove to you that it’s real – you have to see it in action with your own eyes. But the more you work with the principles while keeping an open mind, you begin to notice little bits of progress that will keep building your belief stronger and stronger.
Remember that the Law of Attraction is always working, whether we are conscious of it or not. Because of this, it is important that you be conscious and deliberate in your actions. Here are 4 tips to help you manifest your desires with the law of attraction: 1. Determine exactly what it is that you want to manifest. Become clear on the things that you really would like to attract into your life. Most people are more in tune with what they do not want, and they have a hard time determining exactly what they DO want. 2. Focus on what you want to manifest DAILY. The more often you focus your mind on what you would like to attract into your life, the stronger your ability to manifest will become. Your focus is extremely important anytime that you set a goal or an intention. 3. Act as if it has already happened. You want to act as if what you want to manifest has already become YOUR reality. It may sound funny, but it puts you in a state where you not only believe that it IS possible, but also that you are READY to receive your desires. 4. When an opportunity appears, take it.
